Get ready for an awesome exposure to the

CLAY WORLD! You will be making

FIVE projects out of clay! You will make

a stoneware pot on the potters wheel, create

and glaze a ceramic tile, taught basic

hand building skills and make a wall

hanging, another hand built project (food

safe) and be given polymer clay and

taught ways to use that. The instructor

brings two potters wheels and she will be

right between two students at a time – literally

her hands on top of the students to

make a pot on the wheel. Parents – please

feel free to register and make these projects

as well! Dress for a mess! Must bring

a bag lunch. Hours: 10:00 to 3:00. Ages

6 and up. This is truly for the young and

young at heart. Projects will be fired and

glazed at the instructors studio and

returned to Comm. Ed. within four weeks.

You will be able to take some clay home

with you, along with the polymer clay to

be baked at home.
